Just A Thought

  I just had a thought about my large book collection.  I have collected so many books from different sources through the years.  I suppose it really doesn’t matter if there are many that I don’t ever get around to reading in my lifetime.  It makes me happy to know that I have them.  There aren’t many that I have read and finished as soon as I have had them.  It has happened though. I have read a good portion of “Melania” but I have struggled to prioritize finishing it.  Can I get partial credit for what I did read?

 The president of the United States of America has shared this on his social media (along with numerous other crazy images) and yet nothing will be done to remove him from office.  It is like we are living in some crazy novel or movie, but it is reality.  The United States of America still functions normally at the level of its people, but the federal government is off the deep end.  The man who started a war to supposedly save America and the world from the threat of nuclear war from another country is in fact threatening that country with nuclear war.  This is the man who believes he deserves and should have received the Nobel Peace Prize.  This is the definition of insanity.  This shit can’t end soon enough. 

This reminds me of a preschooler playing with their toys.  

I have long noticed that Donald Trump describes himself in his condemnations of others.

 I must confess this really had me cracking up.  It’s just too silly to take seriously.  It’s one of those, Trump is so ridiculous you have to laugh, moments. I’m reminded of this game.

 Trump shared this today.  He still mocks and berates President Biden and calls him Sleepy Joe as if he himself has never been sleepy and fallen asleep during meetings and press events. 😲 He is the king now of just falling asleep during his presidential duties.  It just boggles the mind.  What goes through or doesn’t go through that man’s head???   I heard something today that I thought was a most amazing and enlightened (a.k.a. woke) thought and idea.  What I heard was that leaders should leave footprints for people to follow and not scars to be healed.  This person also expressed the importance of kindness.  If only our current president and politicians were as amazing and enlightened as all of the amazing citizens and people of the United States of America!  I believe that good leaders should indeed lead by example and never by malignant criticism and condemnation of others. 

 I don’t know why I decided that I wanted to watch this movie.  I previously never wanted to watch it.  I don’t know how accurately the movie portrayed the real life stories of JD Vance and his family members, but it was a good movie.  It’s too bad that somewhere along the line JD Vance lost his way.  He needs to disconnect himself from Donald Trump, and then maybe just maybe he can find his way again.  

 😠 Technology seems to be falling apart lately.  It’s great when it works, but a pain in the ass when it doesn’t.  I can’t seem to do anything lately without there being some problem or something not working. 🫩
