My Book Collection

 

I just had a thought about my large book collection.  I have collected so many books from different sources through the years.  I suppose it really doesn’t matter if there are many that I don’t ever get around to reading in my lifetime.  It makes me happy to know that I have them.  There aren’t many that I have read and finished as soon as I have had them.  It has happened though.

I have read a good portion of “Melania” but I have struggled to prioritize finishing it.  Can I get partial credit for what I did read?

Art Laffer Speech?

Did this man, Art Laffer, give a speech anywhere yesterday?  I couldn’t find anything online and neither could a couple of AI sources that I read.  Did Mr. Trump just imagine this?  It wouldn’t surprise me at all if this was the case.  Update 12/15/25 As of this time (and I have been looking), I have seen no mention of this Truth Social post of Mr. Trump’s on any of the independent news channels that I like to check for news.   I guess there is always just so much going on with Donald Trump and his regime that no one can pay attention to or keep up with everything.

Day Of The Dead

 The McAllen TX airport set up a really nice Dia De Los Muertos display.  It’s not a part of my own culture, so I have never celebrated the holiday, but I really like the idea of remembering and celebrating those who have passed on!  It’s a great Mexican tradition and I loved the movie Cocoa! 😂

Genealogy

 I think it is time to get back to working on Genealogy and my family history research.  After Christmas, that is. 😄 Update:  Fast-forward eight months and I still haven’t done this and it is currently not a priority.  I always have lots of ideas!  Currently, I am working on editing all my posts on my blog here.  At least I am making good progress with this. 👍 I still have my other blog to get to though! 🙀
