The Art Of The Deal

 These are such contradictory messages from “President” Trump.  I wasn’t going to write or share anything here today about Donald Trump, but then in my infinite wisdom, I decided that I should.   🙄

I just thought of a message that I have for Mr. Trump.  “It’s okay to not win.  Life is full of things of value and meaning that don’t involve winning in the sense that you take it to mean.  Winning has many meanings that have nothing to do with being a victor over others or money.”

I feel sorry for any person who is trapped in a mental mindset that doesn’t allow them to understand these kind of things.

Did this man, Art Laffer, give a speech anywhere yesterday?  I couldn’t find anything online and neither could a couple of AI sources that I read.  Did Mr. Trump just imagine this?  It wouldn’t surprise me at all if this was the case.  Update 12/15/25 As of this time (and I have been looking), I have seen no mention of this Truth Social post of Mr. Trump’s on any of the independent news channels that I like to check for news.   I guess there is always just so much going on with Donald Trump and his regime that no one can pay attention to or keep up with everything.

 Sometimes I have thoughts that are gift to me and sometimes they are my own.  I think they sometimes are a combination of both.  I guess that makes sense if I find them in my own head.  What I do truly know, though, is that there is a greater source from which we human beings can draw intelligence, wisdom and clarity when we find our way to tap into it.

Hidden Figures

 I’m still watching the movie “Hidden Figures” but it’s an amazing movie.  I take back what I said about rocket scientists.  I only wish that I had that kind of mind and in particular like the minds of the hidden figures.  If I say that I don’t need to be a rocket scientist it is because I couldn’t be a rocket scientist.  People just have to accept their limits and not have a bad attitude about it.  I didn’t really have a bad attitude, but I know that legions of women have dealt with this for just trying to reach their potential.  Also, it crazy to think that things were still so bad for African Americans as late as the 1960s.  I know that things are still far from perfect, but thank goodness for progress!
