Just A Thought

Mr. Trump is having another meltdown today.  He is probably set off, on top of other things, by the dismissal of the reflecting pool vandalism case.  These are just three of the many images and things that he has posted and shared.  As far as the two people reaching over the edge and into the reflecting pool in the video he shared, they are not vandals.  One just grabbed and kept a piece of the pool liner that was already detached and floating in the pool.  He or she did not cut any 350 foot gash or commit any intended vandalism. He or she evidently must have just wanted a souvenir of the actual state of what was taking place with the reflecting pool.  Not the most genius idea given that it involved Donald Trump and his “repaired and beautified” reflecting pool,  but they weren’t committing any actual vandalism. Update:  Another image that he just shared.  Someone please get this crazy man out of the White House!

 I just had a thought about Mr. Donald Trump.  He is not going to have any claim to being the rightful winner of the next election when is not one of the nominees.  How will he act and what will he do then?  He jokes about running again in 2028, but it’s not going to suffice as a claim and joke anymore when the time actually comes and this cannot become a reality.  Somehow I don’t think that this will sit just fine with Mr. Trump.  Assuming he is still living at that time.  I can’t imagine a man with such delusions of importance and magnificence and grandeur just peacefully and gracefully conceding that his political position and power has come to an end.  It is not just a term of presidency to him.  It is who he believes himself to rightfully be.  America’s president.

 I didn’t do much in the way of tasks today, but then I also didn’t do much with my time that was particularly pleasant or enjoyable either.  Oh well, some days are just like this I guess.  I did read a little bit of a magazine and I realized that at this point in my life, I’m really not interested in trying to comprehend anything that’s very difficult. 😝 My old brain just wants stuff that is easy to take in and comprehend.  I would definitely not want to be a college student at this point in my life. 🤯

 Hitler in the White House.  This is pretty much the equivalent shown in these images.  And Trump is his faithful and obliging sidekick when it is within his power to fulfill this role.  The world will breathe a sigh of relief when these two are relegated to history along with the one in Russia.  Maybe someday there will be a world where really bad actors don’t rise to positions of power. Who knew that in our lifetimes, and in the 21st century, our country was in for such a wretched political chapter.  This too shall pass.

 The Mazda car dealership in Mission Texas is really annoying.  I’m hearing a loud television and loud music at the same time.  It doesn’t make for a pleasant waiting experience.  Get me out of this place! 😒

I watched this movie again yesterday.  Normally a Disney movie would not be my choice if I wanted to find a movie to watch, but I love this movie!!  In addition to it being a great movie, I love having a feeling of wanting to connect with the culture of the native people where I live.  The Mexican culture is very much a part of the border area of Texas, where I live.  Coco is a movie that brings tears to my eyes and I’m not usually a sap about movies.

Evidently yesterday must not have been a good day for Mr. Trump.  He had a day of sharing all sorts of crazy images.  He may have his own people in the United States of America who enable and support his own vision of reality (most of the time) but this is not going to work for him with the rest of the world.  He seems to have been working hard to share and assert his own vision of reality.

 Oh dear Jilly.  You will be getting spayed in about 3 1/2 weeks.  I hope you will be well cared for at the Human Society spay and neuter clinic.  I have been nervous about the idea of my cat being spayed at a low-cost spay and neuter clinic.  I’ll bet the people are perfectly qualified and provide good care at low cost spay and neuter facilities and clinics, but she is my Kitty. 💕🐈💕 I hope the collar I ordered works well!   I guess this is my topic because this is what is on my mind.  I attempted and actually got an appointment today.

 I have followed the story of this lady and her family on Instagram and before that on YouTube.  Once in a while, I download the Instagram app to see the updates on accounts that I like to follow.  This mother and her husband spent nine years experiencing infertility and failed adoption attempts, and then after they finally experienced a successful adoption, she naturally conceived and carried to term, in quick succession, five biological children.  I don’t know what changed or how this happened but it’s an amazing story!  I can’t help wondering how what took place is possible?!!  And now she is going to have a documentary story on Netflix.  That’s pretty cool. 😄😎 My paternal grandmother had a sister who was married for almost 16 years before she conceived and gave birth to her daughter who was her only child.  This is another story that I can’t comprehend how it could’ve happened.  If she couldn’t have a child for almost 16 years, how was ...

 Perhaps Mr. Trump never studied or learned about the meaning and purpose of the three separate branches in American Government.  He is not supposed to use his power and his branch of government to threaten and try to manipulate and control the other the other two branches of government. 😔 Mr. Trump did not complete his statement below.  I was trying to comprehend the conclusion to this statement but there was none. “ If the Dumocrats, or any RINO (or worse!) working with them, do not allow a positive Vote on SAVE AMERICA, TERMINATE THE FILIBUSTER, and pass this, and every other Bill that true Republicans have ever dreamt of (In addition to the upcoming Budget BOMB and the 1929 catastrophic style DEBT CEILING BILL!).”  And here Mr. Trump shares an image featuring himself at the heart and center of America’s 250 year history and anniversary.  To the left is a much smaller image of some of our nation’s founding fathers.

 This was just a thought of reflection.  I’m sure that we all look back at times from our younger years at things we did or said and think, “What the heck was I thinking?”  If there is a human being for whom this doesn’t hold true, I would be quite amazed. 

 I just had some thoughts about political elections.  I thought we would see sanity prevail during our last presidential election in 2024.  I don’t know what happened then, but the unthinkable happened.  Now we have the midterm elections coming up in 4 months.  I once again would like to believe that sanity will prevail, and people will know better than to keep the Republicans, a.k.a Trump’s supporters and enablers, in power.  It’s harder to believe in sanity and rationality though when you have already seen it fail.  I think waiting for this year’s midterm elections actually holds more anxiety than the last presidential election.  I can only speak for myself, but I won’t be voting for any damn Republicans.  I comprehend how serious it all is.

  I read the book “Not Without My Daughter” many years ago.  It is about an American mother who was stuck along with her daughter in the county Iran with an abusive husband.  It is her story of trying to escape to return to America.  There were a lot of things in this book that were really hard to stomach involving cleanliness (or lack thereof) and food standards and practices.  It described a culture that was very different from American culture.   I read this book in early 1991 when I was in the first trimester of pregnancy with my first child and I was suffering from all day morning sickness, because I am just brilliant like that. 🤢  I didn’t know what the descriptions of life in Iran would be like until I was reading the book.  The only things that I have ever learned or know about the country of Iran, I learned from reading this book.  Above all I learned that it was very difficult to be a woman in Iran particularly for an American woma...
