Boneless Chicken Wings


 Boneless chicken wings are just glorified chicken nuggets.  I ordered some chicken wings at a restaurant yesterday assuming that if I didn’t specify, I would be receiving the regular bone in wings.  I wasn’t asked which I wanted.  I got the stupid chicken nuggets.  I won’t make that mistake again. 🤨

Update 12/20/25  Okay, maybe calling these particular boneless chicken wings chicken nuggets was a bit extreme.  I had some again last night and found them to be not so bad and not quite chicken nuggets.  I don’t think I would call them chicken wings though.

Hidden Figures

 I’m still watching the movie “Hidden Figures” but it’s an amazing movie.  I take back what I said about rocket scientists.  I only wish that I had that kind of mind and in particular like the minds of the hidden figures.  If I say that I don’t need to be a rocket scientist it is because I couldn’t be a rocket scientist.  People just have to accept their limits and not have a bad attitude about it.  I didn’t really have a bad attitude, but I know that legions of women have dealt with this for just trying to reach their potential.  Also, it crazy to think that things were still so bad for African Americans as late as the 1960s.  I know that things are still far from perfect, but thank goodness for progress!

Note Taking

My husband often comments on the fact that students nowadays don’t take notes in class and don’t feel any need to take notes because they think they can just look up whatever they need to know.  This leads me to a kind of silly thought. Imagine if teachers admonished their students to stop taking notes.  “Don’t take notes.  Just listen.  It will work best to just write stuff  down on the final exam.”   😂🤣  That would be a very different approach to education and learning for sure.
