Tired Of News & Trump



I’m tired and weary of news.  It takes up too much of my time, but I have to watch it anyway.   I wish I could just know if there are actually any major developments that I should pay attention to like Democratic and Republican lawmakers all coming together to get Trump removed from office, or Trump becoming gravely ill and unable to continue with his term of presidency, or his dementia becoming so bad that he has to be committed to a residence for dementia patients.  No such thing is happening though or seemingly not anytime soon.  We need some big news about the undoing of Trump.  Earlier in the year, I hoped that somehow things would be better by Christmas time.  If only we could all just have a “Trump is gone” gift for Christmas this year.

I don’t know if it is true, but I heard that Trump‘s big beef with PBS is that in the past on Sesame Street there were appearances made by some very disagreeable characters that were inspired by Donald Trump himself.   The characters were real.  I just don’t know if it is true that this is the reason for Mr. Trump’s big beef with PBS.  I think grumpy wanted all the trash for himself.

New Approach To Living

 My new approach to living is that a to-do list is a life plan or course of action.  It is not something that must be completed or prioritized over time spent just taking time to smell the roses, so to speak, or just enjoying life in general.  If things on a to do list are completed then great.  If they cannot or do not end up being completed when we had hoped that they would, then this is ok also.  Some things are more important than whether one’s house is perfect or whether all of one’s holiday ideas and plans come to fruition.  This is true for life in general be it a holiday time or not.  Yes, we all must prioritize what needs to be done and accomplish the most important things but some things are less important than our happiness and joy that we are able to find in living.  I think the notion that things don’t have to be perfect is a good attitude and example for others.  Being happy, assisting others when we can, and sharing our own joy...
