Toddler Me & The Passage Of Time


It will take a long time for the next half century+6 years to pass by.  When you have lived that length of time though, it is remarkable how easily that amount of time came to pass.  Life as we are living it may not always be a fast or easy road to travel, but when the years and decades have slipped steadily into the past, we can’t help but wonder how all that time got away from us. 

Imagine if we all could relive our lives with the foresight of
the knowledge and experience that we have acquired in hindsight.        

“Do you wish we were back at the Milk of Magnesia store?”
Only my brother would understand that. 😂

Things Belong Together

 Things belong together. For example, a plate that I have saved that is meant to be used underneath of a candle should be with whatever candles I have.  If I value the usefulness of this plate, then it should be kept with my candles and not in some drawer in the garage where I forget that it exists.  That just doesn’t make any sense at all.  I don’t know what has taken hold of me to suddenly experience such organization and storage enlightenment.  ðŸ˜‚  Oh and any currently unused nightlights that I still wish to keep should be stored in the same location as night light bulbs.  It just makes the most sense.  Oh thank you fairy of storage knowledge for the imparting of your beautiful wisdom! 😚🩷 😯 My miscellaneous drawer is proving to be work.  I’m realizing that most of its contents should really be stored somewhere else.  I’m not finished yet so this may prove to be true of all of its contents.

Thoughts & Insights

 Sometimes I have thoughts that are gift to me and sometimes they are my own.  I think they sometimes are a combination of both.  I guess that makes sense if I find them in my own head.  What I do truly know, though, is that there is a greater source from which we human beings can draw intelligence, wisdom and clarity when we find our way to tap into it.

Alternate Activity

 Well instead of going to jury duty (after not being selected) this week, I am tackling a clean out of my bookshelves lining the walls of my garage which is made possible with two strong fans.  This is the part that I neglected when I previously worked on my possessions clean out.  I am downsizing my collection (less can actually be better) and better organizing them.  The excess will be dropped off at Goodwill stores.  The last time I did this was before we moved in the summer of 2018.  It does go against my nature to get rid of good books, but I never stop wanting to acquire more from thrift stores, library book sales and etc. so this becomes necessary.  I will always find more, so this is not a problem.  It is also good for Goodwill if I purchase them and then donate them back again. ☺️  Now I just need boxes.   Note to self:  Don’t forget that I already have this book. 🫢 I guess I should at least keep one copy.
