Arnold Schwarzenegger & Donald Trump

 I just thought of Arnold Schwarzenegger.  Bodybuilder, actor, governor.  He certainly wore a lot of hats. 

Donald Trump turned 80 today.  My father will be 80 next November.  I just had a thought of Mr. Trumps UFC cage fight come to my mind. 😵‍💫 I haven’t watched any news stories about it yet.  But seriously?!  Couldn’t a supposed tribute to America’s 250th anniversary have been something other than UFC fighting?  The whole thing was just ridiculous.  The American people care about the anniversary of America.  Its 250th anniversary should be about our country’s history and all of its past and present day people and their places of remembrance and belonging and inclusion in our present day United States Of America.  How in the hell does UFC fighting in any way represent these sentiments?  I held no expectation for such a thing coming from Mr. Trump.  Of course it was going to be a total Donald Trump thing and that would include it being mainly about his own birthday.  His legacy is going to be quite a doozy all right. 

I hope you have some amazing angels waiting for you Mr. Trump because you are in need of amazing angels!  Spiritually woke you are not.  Woke is not bad.

It just dawned on me that Arnold Schwarzenegger was a republican governor.  I wonder if he was invited to Mr. Trump’s UFC cage fight.  Who else was invited in addition to active duty service members who met the necessary requirements for height and waste measurements?  Now that I think about it, I wonder.  

The tale of Donald Trump’s political & presidential career will be a story like no other.

Did this man, Art Laffer, give a speech anywhere yesterday?  I couldn’t find anything online and neither could a couple of AI sources that I read.  Did Mr. Trump just imagine this?  It wouldn’t surprise me at all if this was the case.  Update 12/15/25 As of this time (and I have been looking), I have seen no mention of this Truth Social post of Mr. Trump’s on any of the independent news channels that I like to check for news.   I guess there is always just so much going on with Donald Trump and his regime that no one can pay attention to or keep up with everything.

 The McAllen TX airport set up a really nice Dia De Los Muertos display.  It’s not a part of my own culture, so I have never celebrated the holiday, but I really like the idea of remembering and celebrating those who have passed on!  It’s a great Mexican tradition and I loved the movie Cocoa! 😂

Genealogy

 I think it is time to get back to working on Genealogy and my family history research.  After Christmas, that is. 😄 Update:  Fast-forward eight months and I still haven’t done this and it is currently not a priority.  I always have lots of ideas!  Currently, I am working on editing all my posts on my blog here.  At least I am making good progress with this. 👍 I still have my other blog to get to though! 🙀
