Very Small Wild Cats
How is it that I never knew before tonight that there are some very small wild cats that exist in the world?
The smallest, the rusty-spotted cat, has an adult weight of just around 3lbs. How could I have not had this information my whole life?
The rusty-spotted cat.
I also had never before heard of the jaguarundi that can be found living near the Rio Grande River.
The jaguarundi.
This really goes to show that our knowledge of the world, or anything for that matter, may be far less complete than we believe it to be. Just because we personally have never had knowledge of things doesn’t mean that the world doesn’t hold truths and information, beyond our own perceptions and world views, that would really surprise us. What we have been taught and have learned in our lives is most definitely not the only reality or truth that the world holds.
I think I would have guessed that bobcats were the smallest wild cats.
