Being Personally Affected

 It is usually not until a person becomes personally affected by something that they can learn and truly understand what the experiences and realities are like for others.  Unless maybe people are willing to really listen to others.

 The McAllen TX airport set up a really nice Dia De Los Muertos display.  It’s not a part of my own culture, so I have never celebrated the holiday, but I really like the idea of remembering and celebrating those who have passed on!  It’s a great Mexican tradition and I loved the movie Cocoa! 😂

Genealogy

 I think it is time to get back to working on Genealogy and my family history research.  After Christmas, that is. 😄 Update:  Fast-forward eight months and I still haven’t done this and it is currently not a priority.  I always have lots of ideas!  Currently, I am working on editing all my posts on my blog here.  At least I am making good progress with this. 👍 I still have my other blog to get to though! 🙀
