Life’s Little Frustrations

I was trying to watch a DVD, “Hidden Figures”, that I had borrowed from the library.  My DVD player was not cooperating even though I had recently hooked it up and it did work.  I couldn’t figure out what the problem was because I knew I had the right input selected on my tv menu.  I was about to give up on the idea of ever again borrowing DVDs or Blue Rays from the library and trying to play them on newer TVs with old Blue Ray/DVD players.  Then it hit me.  I forgot to switch the HDMI cable from my Roku device to my DVD player! 💡 🤦‍♀️🤭

Some older HDMI cables won’t work with newer TVs but I had one that did so that was something in my favor. 😁
