The Way Things Sound

Sometimes people make statements that can sound like something totally different from what they actually meant.  What may actually be something positive, for example, in one context, can sound like something much more negative in a different context.  Words can be interpreted to have alternate meanings that were never intended.

💡This is what is meant when we say and understand that things can be taken in the wrong way.  So this is a language week spot where two or more different types of experiences,  emotions or meanings can be described with virtually the same words.  How odd and interesting.  This is definitely something worthy of some deeper thought.  I wasn’t thinking of anything in particular just now.  I’m just familiar with the experience.
