Just A Thought

  The Royals.  I wonder if the Royals of today ever take DNA tests.  Wouldn’t they be just as curious as all of the rest of us, what we might learn from our genetic connections between ourselves and our relatives.  Is this forbidden to the Royals? One can’t help but wonder.

 A friend showed up for Phily.  She showed up Friday evening at the start of Labor Day weekend.  I was going to call animal control but by Tuesday it was too late.  She needed to stay. ❤️ 🐈 🐈  No kittens making kittens!

 If our higher selves could speak to us all I imagine that this is what they would tell us. You have value. You have worth. You have purpose. Any state of imperfection in which you find yourself is just a part of the growth process that will lead you to your full potential.  You are meant to be a light that helps to illuminate your universe.  Believe in yourself.  Believe in yourself despite any present state of imperfection.  Keep your ears and heart open to higher guidance. 

 Sometimes or maybe often, people absorb and regurgitate what others close to them have to say and what they often hear around them.  I suppose this is the easy way to adopt and share an opinion and have something to say. If they take some time to do their own reflecting and thinking however, they might realize that they have just been accepting what they hear and are told by others which might not be what they really think or would conclude if they were to look inside themselves and give it some more thought.  I have been guilty of this in the past, and I try to be mindful of this and not make the mistake of just repeating things without first asking myself what I really think and feel and what my own experiences would lead me to believe.  This may not always lead myself or anyone else to immediately have a full understanding of things, but at least being honest with ourselves and our own personal authenticity will put us on the right path from which we can continue to grow and evolve

 If Gary was on my shelf, I would be dropping him off with the Salvation Army so he could take up residence on their shelf.  It is not okay for a healthy and able bodied adult troll to just sit back, relax and avoid the chaos of adulthood.  His days of “Trolls Against Adulthood” would come to an end on my shelf. 

 Wow, this is a really mature response from a presidential candidate when a person chooses to endorse another candidate.  I’m going to be dumbfounded when election day comes and Trump receives many millions of votes from American voters. 

 I noticed something from the presidential debate.  It was the part where vice president Kamala Harris was telling former president Trump that dictators are rooting for him to win the election because they know that he is very easy to manipulate with flattery and favors.  When she was saying this, Mr. Trump shook his head in an affirmative manner.  What exactly that meant for Mr. Trump, only he knows, but he did shake his head yes.  Maybe he was admitting that he admires them and wants their approval and he wants to be buddies with them.

 If ever there was a super important presidential debate, this might be it.  Update:  I was happy with the way the debate went, and I feel that the candidate that I support did a really good job.  With this election though, I think that how people will respond to everything is anybody’s guess. 

My mother used to volunteer for the “Read Aloud” program in her state.  One day she was speaking with another lady from the program.  She had quite a shock when this other lady told her that she had seen a photo of her wearing a miniskirt on Facebook. 😲😂 She was mystified as to how this could be possible.  Well, there are reasons behind crazy stories.  Someone had simply shared a photo on Facebook that matched this description and she was labeled.  I was holding my first younger cousin on the day of her baptism.  That was the significance of the photo to me.  I never thought about the fact that my mother was wearing a mini skirt or that it would matter for any reason.  Now that I think about it though, I do remember my mother telling the story about how one older member from her brother-in-law’s family thought that the way she was dressed was very inappropriate for a christening/baptism.  I think she told me this story after I explained why she was seen wearing a mini skirt on a Face

 What is with all the Judy Blume books that are evidently being printed to be sold at Dollar Tree?  Is this a bring back Judy Blume and make her books affordable campaign?  I think this is really cool actually.  Kids nowadays do need to have things for them that can be purchased at affordable prices and not the super inflated prices that we have seen since the pandemic.
