 While at the Dollar Tree,  I opened and was flipping through this book.  It looked like an interesting and nice book until I closed the cover again and noticed the upper left corner.  🤢 Maybe the stories that people wrote were okay but I have zero trust in Fox News. 😒

 Damn scammers.  I had my first experience today of believing that I was communicating via email with a friend who was making a request for help only to discover that her email had been hacked and I was communicating with a scammer and not this friend.  People can really suck.

 An older couple just passed by in front of me.  As they were walking by, the man looked up to me and said something that I couldn’t understand and gave me a thumbs up signal. Well, damn.  I’m sitting here at the beach in a sand chair next to my red beach wagon.  I like to believe that when I spend time at a beach by myself, I can just pick a spot and pretty much be invisible and unnoticed.  Well, a lady just walked up to me who was amused and told me that, from a distance, as she was walking down the beach, it looked as though I was sitting in my wagon.  Well damn, I didn’t know I was making a silly optical spectacle of myself. 🤪  And then I was talking into my phone, thinking no one could possibly hear me or what I was saying because of the wind and the sound of the waves, and I glanced to my right, and there was a lady standing right there very close to my wagon! 🫢 Why was next to me her chosen place to stop to stand?  Well, damn again.  A lot of people go to the beach here even in February.  When you sit by the water, there is a pretty steady occurrence of people walking by.

 “Donald Duck is here.  Donald Duck is here.  Ronald, Donald.  Ronald, Donald.  Donald Duck is here!” I’ll bet I am the only one that remembers this little song even though I am not the one who once sang it. 😁 🎤 🎶  Oh shit, it’s a Donald Duck theme.   As a side note, it’s tough to get old.  I just for a moment thought that Donald Duck was one of the Looney Tunes characters.  No, that was Daffy Duck.  I do remember that Donald Duck is a Disney character.  I was never really a fan of the Looney Tunes cartoons when I was young.  Maybe I would appreciate them more now.  I have no idea.  I do know that I am a fan now of Looney Tunes.  I mean the Looney Tunes of my own mind though. Normal is boring and being a bit crazy is a lot more interesting. 

 I never heard of Bad Bunny until the recent Grammy awards and then the Super Bowl.  This is my feeling about the Bad Bunny Super Bowl halftime show.  Puerto Rico is a territory of the United States, so why shouldn’t Puerto Rico ever have the opportunity to be included in American cultural events like the Super Bowl and to also do so in their own cultural style and language.  Contrary to what some would like to be the case, culture is an ever evolving thing and cannot always maintain its status quo from bygone eras.  New generations will bring about new cultural changes and norms.  Sorry, old timers who don’t like this, but you just can’t stop the evolution of humanity and culture. https://youtu.be/G6FuWd4wNd8?si=qAoKNUSi5e6s5ZSK

  I believe that elections are the recourse and power still left to the people of the United States of America in determining our future.  May we all be wise and armed with accurate and not misleading information. 🙏 

 What will happen with Donald Trump and his presidency now that the 3 million new pages of the Epstein files have been released.  It will be insane if the answer is nothing and things just continue along as they have been as if this is just one more outrageous thing added to Donald Trump’s years long list of outrageous things.  These are so not normal times.  Will there be a normal and appropriate response from the government to this new bombshell against Trump????

 I think very often what human beings lack that could make a world of difference to humanity is better information.  I like that thought.  I like ideas that are just nice and short and sweet.
