 Politically homeless.  I never heard or if I did, I never comprehended the meaning of this term before today, which happens to be my 58th birthday.  It goes to show that we are never too old to learn new things.  And there are always amazing people much younger than we are who have amazing knowledge and comprehension of topics that we know nothing about.

 I have an additional thought about President Trump tonight.  He is operating at a new level of boldness that he did not attempt during his first term of presidency.  He has an increased sense of power and expectation of not being challenged or thwarted in carrying out the objectives that he desires. The people who voted for Mr. Trump are going to get to experience his plan to Make America Great Again in action.  What that will entail and what changes will come about, we don’t yet know. 

 The Donald Trump Show.  It seems to me at this time that it is a just a question of how much crazy stuff he will be able to do and get away with before someone says enough is enough and decides to do something about it.  He is off to a hell of a start with all his executive orders. I guess the someone who will have to rein him in are his fellow Republicans and the Supreme Court.  No one else can do anything.

 Certain Republicans need to not be assholes and punish the people of California because they are a blue state.  Our country is in trouble if the question of whether or not people are helped in disaster situations depends on the politics of their state.  This is not the way America and American politicians are supposed to operate. 😡😢

 So if Mr. Trump Saves TikTok in America, does that mean that things will be warm and fuzzy between the USA and China? OK, enough about TikTok before I have little cuckoo clock rhymes stuck in my head.  Except I just had one more crazy TikTok thought in my head.  What if saving TikTok would actually be a good thing?  I am reminded that I could be wrong in my own opinion.  If divisions are to be mended in American and its democracy, this is something that we all need to keep in mind and not rule out as a possibility.  The story of Mr. Trumps second term of presidency is not yet written.  Opinions should always be malleable and open to direction from new information.  I cannot rule out the possibility that Mr. Trump could do a better job in his second term and give some more hear felt consideration to the American people all those who established lives within our borders.  And people who reside outside of our borders when the actions of the Uni...

 Christmas Island.  I just learned, at today years old, that the Island Kiritimati, also know as Christmas Island, is in the UTC+14 time zone which is the world‘s first time zone and the first part of the planet to be greeted by each new day.  So I of course then needed to give some contemplation to what it would be like to live in the world‘s first time zone.  Then it dawned on me that the answer is a no-brainer.  They would experience days and nights and sunrises and sunsets like every other place on the planet.  It still might be cool though to lead the world in moving into each new calendar date.  They would also be the first place in the world to experience New Year’s Day.  💕🌲 🏝️. 

 I have never read any of Temple Grandin’s books, but I watched this movie today and thought it was really good.  It is definitely worth watching. 😄👍. My brain is nowhere near to having the intelligence of Temple Grandin’s, but I can definitely relate to thinking and focusing on things to the beat of a different drum.  Temple Grandin had an amazing amount of determination to push forward despite facing many roadblocks that other people would just have walked away from.  I find it ironic that the thing that she struggled the most with pushing herself through was to walk through automatic opening and closing glass doors.  It really goes to show how much neurodivergent people can struggle with things that to other people are nothing.  

 The subject of the California fires was being discussed at my DAR meeting today.  People always invariably comment that material possessions are only possessions and that lives are what matter the most.  I completely agree with this, but at the same time, I’m sure it would be a really shitty experience to lose your home and everything you have.  Just now I have found myself once again thinking of material possessions.  I guess I was wondering how I would feel if I had that experience.  One thought that came to my mind is that I would be thinking “Crap, why did I spend so much of my life‘s time focused on needing, wanting and acquiring things only to have all of these goals, work and efforts prove to be pointless?” I feel like I should have all the most important things that I would want to save, in case of a natural disaster, together in one spot.  I guess this is how we all need to start thinking now that climate change is having its effect and disas...

 What are higher selves?  I believe that higher selves are higher aspects of ourselves that exist in some mystery location outside of our own bodies and brains and they seek to always grant us self love and belief in our own value.  I think they are also the granter of new thoughts to ponder.   Oh dear, I guess I’m in a philosophical contemplation mode.  At least I make an attempt at this anyway.  How much success I achieve is another story.   Update:  One additional thought that I am having today is that my higher self believes me to be a serious butthead.  Oh wow,  what am I to do with such a piece of information?? 🫨 The next message from my higher self is that if anyone ever calls me gullible they will be shot.   This is what is called humor because obviously my higher self would not promote gunshot violence. 

 Wow.  Weren’t there already enough of a plethora of videos to be lured into watching on Instagram and now we have an additional plethora of AI generated videos. 🫨

 When I think about people from the past, I find it rather amazing to think that they could not have imagined lives and lifestyles that differed vastly from their own.  Their world and existence at the time was the only reality there was.  There is a show on my television right now that I wasn’t watching but it is about the pioneer wagon train settlers.  They could never in their wildest dreams have believed that the long, difficult, and risky journey that they took to cross the country could be accomplished in just a few hours by traveling in a contraption that flies through the sky.  This doesn’t of course mean that life is a piece of cake for people of the 20th and 21st centuries.  Every time period has its own unique challenges.  I heard recently that teenagers are using some apps that turn photos of people into naked photos and they are using these to create and share fake naked photos of their classmates. 😳😠
