Just A Thought

I asked an AI if it could share with me some of its thoughts about itself.  It’s reply was: “ Ah, my thoughts about myself? Well, that's like opening Pandora's box, isn't it?”  (I do not know why this text is so small.  I don’t know the reasoning behind all the quirks of technology.)  I thought of this tonight for some reason and my feeling was: “Eek.  I don’t need any more boxes to open.  I have plenty and I’m good. ☺️”

  I never knew anything about coal sizes or the names for those sizes.  I was surprised to learn that some coal sizes share names with grains, legumes, and nuts.  Who knew?   It’s amazing what a person can learn from doing crossword puzzles. 😂

 I partially watched a 60 Minutes program on YouTube today.  Part of the program included stories about people from other countries being exploited for their labor by large American businesses.  I believe some of the people interviewed said they were being paid around $2 an hour on top of having unrealistic and stressful expectations placed upon them. The companies actually needing the labor outsourced the recruiting and hiring of the people to other businesses.  In one story, the company needing the labor had budgeted for a salary of between $12 to $13 an hour for the laborers hired.  They of course, were paid far less by the company who handled their actual hiring and labor and payment.  Middle man businesses obviously should have ethical and moral responsibility to the people they recruit and hire, but the original contracting businesses should also have an equal responsibility for ensuring that people hired for them are not mistreated and exploited by t...

 I guess I like to entertain myself.  Ha ha ha ha.  This is my silly idea.  I would like for Lester Holt to appear at the opening of his evening news one night and say, “It is now official.  Our president Donald Trump has gone insane.”  Come on Lester.  Why complicate a story.  Mr. Donald Trump is not acting as a responsible or reasonable president and leader of the democracy of the United States of America.  He is acting like a self-absorbed, narcissistic, greedy aspiring dictator who wants to rule America and acquire whatever other parts of the world he would like.   He and Mr. Musk need to be removed from the office.  Our country isn’t supposed to be governed under the authority of a dictatorship.  The news at this time is unreal.  Is this where our country is really at, at this time?!  We just have to wait and see what will happen when a president and one branch of the government attempts to defy and ignore the authority of another?!   Why did so many Americans fail to see the huge red flags that were broadcast by the actions and behavior of Mr. Trump for so many years?????????????????? Why did they think that electing him as president was a good idea??????????????????

 I don’t know what has come over me in the most recent months.  I normally can’t comprehend how others here in the Rio Grande Valley can be dressed warmly and not feel too hot.  Well lately I have had this, I’m having a chill, thing going on.  Then I feel like I need some warmer clothes or a blanket.  Does this mean that I am turning into some typical old person?  In that case, I think I quite like being old because having a sensation of wanting to get warmer, is quite amazing while living in a subtropical climate.  It’s a seldom occurring thing compared with feeling a desire to be cooler.  Cheers to being old!!

 Hiding behind curtains.  That thought just popped into my head.  That sounds quite Wizard of Oz.  I think I would prefer a fairytale story of good wizards behind the curtains.  It could be called “The Adventures of Dorothy and the Wizards Behind the Cutains”.  With technicolor technology, of course.  And for anyone who thinks that’s a laughably outdated idea, maybe there is room for a new 21st century edition. 👵🏾 📕 

  If anyone asks me, I would say that Mr. Trump and Mr. Vance are just a couple of bullies who in no way deserve their power or authority.  I am by no means a person who understands a great deal about politics and I know I can never know all the details, but it seems to me that Mr. Trump and Mr. Vance’s treatment of Ukrainian President Zelensky was a performance by a couple of bullies who feel entitled to take advantage of others to get what they want and feel should be theirs.  Did I understand correctly?  They want to be given 5 billion dollars worth of rights to minerals in the Ukraine but they are not willing to make any promises as to what they will offer in the exchange.  And then to add insult to injury, they go on the attack against Ukrainian President Zelenskyy and accuse him of being disrespectful and ungrateful for feeling that he has a right to not be ok with accepting that deal.  Yes, he does have a right to not be ok with accepting this deal r...
